staying short

To go out (to a bar or someones place) for a short duration of time.

Regis: There's nothing wrong with "staying short"/"going short"/"short tripping".

You go to a bar with the intent of being there only to be seen, have one drink, see someone that is conveniently available and GTFO (get the f**k out) as soon as possible.

Stringimal

The combination of a string and decimal, most commonly referred to in the context of programming, although the stringimal is not recognized as an actual variable type used by any programming language at this time. The string portion of the stringimal is usually composed of alphabetic characters, although numeric characters are technically allowed, and the decimal portion consists of only numeric characters.

Stringimal versions of decimals:

22.9 = Twenty Two.9
