Parazombie

A creature/being that behaves very similarly to a zombie, but does not abide by certain common zombie rules and/or does not fit the stereotypical image of a zombie.
Examples include The Last of Us' "Cordyceps" infection, Resident Evil 4's "Las Plagas" infected, and 28 Days Later's "Rage Virus"

Can't we just call them Parazombies and stop having these semantic arguments?

A creature/monster that behaves near identically to a zombie, but has enough differences from a stereotypical zombie that it can be difficult to class them as zombies (e.g., Clickers from The Last of Us)

A Parazombie walks and talks like a zombie, but it might not look like one.
