Break the truth

Breaking the truth to someone means telling someone the truth as it is, usually, you are being blunt about it. I've heard it being used but it's not on here.

Just break the truth to them, it will hurt them more if you let them live in a lie.

truthiness

According to an interview Stephen Colbert gave on 60 minutes, he defined it this way:

"Truthiness is what you want the facts to be, as opposed to what the facts are. What feels like the right answer, as opposed to what reality will support."

On "The Word" Colbert's example of Truthiness was: If you think about The War in Iraq, maybe there a few missing pieces to the rationale for war, but doesn’t taking Saddam out "feel" like the right thing?

Moon Truther

A group of people or a person who believes that the moon is a hologram made by the government. This term can also be used if someone just doesn't believe in the moon. Put an (s) at the end if it is plural

"That guy doesn't believe in the moon, he is a Moon Truther"

"Is he a Moon Truther"

"Yes he is"

Used on 95% of all threads on World of Warcraft's realm forum for Grim Batol. When someone says fail, there's always another person quoting him, replying "This man speaks the truth".

Blue Truth

Information overheard about someone or something while in the vicinity of one speaking loudly on a Bluetooth.

"Did you hear that guy telling everyone in the restaurant about the affair he's having? Thats some unwanted Blue Truth."
