A game of Scrabble where the loser must buy, borrow or steal an word on the board (usually within a time limit of 2 hours).
While this has made the game of Scrabble more tactical, it has also lead to a steady annual rise in prisoners within the British Isles since 1991.

To cheat (not just in a game, but not in relationships) in an overly obvious way for little reason, if any, or to exploit an arbitrary technicallity.
