"Praise me" is to be said after a badass moment where someone feels they deserve praise. The words MUST be accompanied by raising your left hand above your head and repeatedly waggling your fingers.

Name-Praise Whores

The people on Urban Dictionary who randomly praise their own name or someone else's name for the sakes of either:
A) being an attention whore, or

B) to praise random people by giving a bullshit definition for their name here on UD.

People praising their lovers' names over UD are not fully or necessarily Name-Praise Whores - they are something FAR worse...

The people who define names such as Eli shown there or Gary shown here are probably Name-Praise Whores.

From the web series TOKENS, Jessica AD says it to Producer in Episode 6 "Whitewashing" sc. 12. It's scripted as, "Thanks for the LA promise." Winnifred Jong, the series creator and director, got the actor, Jessica Greco, to adlib, "Thanks for the LA-fucking-promise."
