(prounced "pohnd", sometimes making the "o" sound similar to that of an "i" or an "e")

a word used in place of "owned"

the word was used originally only by accident, when someone's finger slip while typing the word "owned" (as you may notice on your keyboard, the "p" is just to the right of the "o")

somewhere along the line, some people deicided to use it as a joke and the joke spread more and more.

then, some decided to take out the e, so instead of "pwned" we have "pwnd", but some still use it in it's original form with the "e". some also spell it "pwn'd" with an apostrophe in place of the "e".

ben: dude! did you see his face after he got punched by that retarded kid??
frank: yeah, he totally got pwnd.

OR

ben: man, that asian cobra didn't stand a chance against that mongoose.
frank: yeah, that cobra got pwnd.

Used as a response to a surprise, usually used while spectating someone else playing a video game or when there is the defeat of an opponent, often added with the wordnoob.

(Jim goes left into a room facing a door)
(In a split second, Fred busts the door open without the consent of Jim!)
(Jim's quick reflexes call for a beautiful headshot on Fred's gay ass character)

An elite (leet/1337) speak (speek) plural past participle of the commonly used gaming word "pwnd" (To destroy/kill/beat an opponent)
Pwnds is having owned (pl) where Pwnd is having owned (sing) and where Pwn is to own.

"You got pwnds noob!!1"
"I was on CS:S yesterday and thx to me the whole of CT got pwnds!!"

lol-pwnd

Combination of the two internet phrases "lol" and "pwnd" in somewhat of a parodying way.
Used basically in the same way as "pwnd" or "owned".
Pronounce each letter of the acronym "L.O.L.", and the whole thing is pronounced back to back as if it were one word ("L.O.L.-powned")

Shadow: "Whoa. He killed me in one hit!"
Blaze: "lol-pwnd."
