Coolsville

A fictional place coined by singer/songwriter Rickie Lee Jones in 1979. Coolsville is largely populated with colorful characters both hopeless and hopeful, the disenfranchised, the down-and-out, hipsters, bohemians, junkies, artists, and what not. Coolsville is a place of hard redemption. It can also be used as an adjective and verb.

To plagiarize without shame from an internet author, as Cooks Source online magazine did from Monica Gaudio. Cooks Source‘s October 2010 issue contained a copy of Gaudio's article "A Tale of Two Tarts," re-edited and named "As American As Apple Pie-Isn't."

The editor of Cooks Source, Judith Griggs, refused the Gaudio's request for an apology on Facebook, a printed apology in the magazine and $130 donation (which turns out to be about $0.10 per word of the original article) to be given to the Columbia School of Journalism.

Cobs

The creature which creates cob-webs. Commonly mistaken as spiders; Cobs are a similar creature to the spider, ( a cousin to the spider if you will). Spider webs and cob webs are very commonly mistaken for one-another by the vast majority of the population because of close similarity. Cobs are also vary rare, due to environmental changes with in the past 30-40 years; one may hear an elderly person (an individual possibly over the age of 60-65) refer to spider webs as cob webs due to Cobs were more populous during the early 20th century and lurking in many tool sheds, garages, and basements across the country.

Homeowner: "There is nothing but spider webs in the attic, I think my house is infested with spiders."

Orkin Man: "Mrs, those aren't spider webs; those are surely cob-webs. Your house is infested with nearly extinct Cobs."
