pre-COVID dream effect

The effect where pre-COVID era felt like a mere dream (or a trailer for our current life), as we're now 4 years into post-COVID era (as of 2026)

Ever since the pandemic, my memories from before COVID-19 pandemic feel like a distant memory, almost like a dream; I guess I’m experiencing that pre-COVID dream effect.

Covid Crutch

Things that were done pre pandemic that could still be done during the pandemic but service providers use Covid as an excuse for not offering it.

The manicurist used the Covid crutch to get out of the shoulder massage. The waitress that servers us 4 courses used the Covid crutch to not wrap our extra food.

When Luke has a fever of 104 and above, body aches, ears ringing, and my ears won’t pop! Hopefully this will all be over in 5 days or less! But super Covid last 13 days!
