a way to describe two people who's personalities "match", or blend well together, especially in a romantic context. two people who are pastel together may have fluid conversations and make jokes that work well together, or in other words, "blend into a gradient."

"did you see her and her crush the other day? they were acting, like, so pastel together. they were finishing each other's jokes and everything."

paste

In cheating communities, a paste is a cheat that is completely copy-pasted (or, more modernly, downloaded straight from GitHub) from the source of another cheat.

This pairs with a 'rename', which is just a paste but renamed throughout the code.

Skids (script kiddies) usually do this to try to look cool.

Skid: "hey look at the cheat i just spent 4 hours making"
Guy: "that's a fucking onetap paste, stfu"

pastetic hopistition

When you get a lyric wrong in a way that it's so wrong you almost had to apply effort to be that wrong. Origin: Josh sang "pastetitic hopistition" instead of "pathetic harmless victims" to Slayer's song Angel of Death, making up his own language to get the lyrics that wrong. Now we want to share this useful, fun phrase with the world.

"Dude, the lyric is 'pathetic, harmless victims!' You just pastetic hopistitioned.

"Did you just sing 'easy sea bag' instead of 'ease the seat back' to Van Halen's Panama? I'm calling a pastetic hopistition."
