A style of acoustic music that is played in very upbeat tempos, with an emphasis on making light of often dark themes, ie. alcoholism, double homicides, death, and drowning. This style of music was first pioneered by the Pogues, mainstreamed by Great Big Sea, and lives on in bands such as Troll 2 and the King's Busketeers.

A party where girls lays on a table with a curtain across the middle so that the male can only see from the waist down and proceeds to have sex with her and once finished the curtain is dropped to reveal the girl.
