A made up word from the community of the hit game "Roblox" as an insult term to call retro style avatars as slop, and/or referring to a retro style avatar without, let alone barely using any retro items (mainly from user generated content (ugc) ).

Retroslop

A phrase used to describe an experience, avatar or person on Roblox that tries too hard to replicate the 2006-2010 aesthetic of Roblox. Such as having overstylized avatars that use aspects of the aesthetic, spamming the stud texture on every surface, or pretending to have been there during the "classic" era of Roblox.

RetroSlop

Retroslop (Often times pronounced Retro Slop) is a ROBLOX slang used to define players who attempt to make avatars similar to the ones of 2006 - 2015 era of ROBLOX, But did not experience it at all, making them fail horribly. Often times represented with "Retro" avatars with pride flags, country flags (Such as Israel, Palestine, etc), and pride armbands. It is unknown when this term was created, but it's believed that it was created in late 2024 and popularized itself in June 2025. "So Retro..." is a phrase used to represent retroslop aswell.
"Retroslop" Popularized itself with the rise of Forsaken and it's fangames, along with other games such as Block Tales or Classic Arena, Doomspire Defense, between many others. Those games have rised and they consider themselves "Classic" or "Retro", although using modernized (?) version of old characters from ROBLOX. Anyway sir heres your yappachino that'll be 3 dollars

Retroslop

Retroslop is a slang made up by a part of the community of the Roblox platform in mid 2025.
Retroslop's actual meaning is used to define a Roblox experience or avatar of a user that tries to replicate the old Roblox Era(2006-2011), but fails by using assets, accessories, and sounds incorrectly.
To correct misinformation, someone had a misunderstanding and popularised the idea that Retroslop is a avatar or game that is related to people that use the "silly goober" or Neo-classic style and also is somewhat related to the LGBTQ.

Example 1(most common)
*Someone with a Retroslop, silly goober avatar or cosplay of a Roblox Character joins the experience*
A person in the experience types in the chat: "retroslop"

Example 2(a rare example, but can happen and has happened)

A person types in the chat or speaks in voicechat: "On my mama get this retroslop out of here bro! Your account was made in 2022, you're not retro bro!"

Refers to Roblox avatars or games that poorly copy old Roblox styles. People now also frequently misuse the term to insult any authentic classic or R6 avatar, even if it accurately represents older Roblox.
