In the Roblox game community: a game that falls under the definition of slop, while trying to also follow the retro style. Those games, aside from having the usual markers of slop / shovelware, do not use materials, instead making all parts plastic with studs (notably, studs on all sides).
A good way to tell apart a retroslop game from a regular slop or shovelware game is to examine map decorations. They will often have 0.1, 0.25, or 0.5 of a stud, as their builders are not actually familiar with the real retro style.

Retroslop is a tiktok slang that was originally used to shame people, or roblox games that plaster the roblox 'stud' texture everywhere, a more known version of its twin word, 'nostalgia bait'.

It has now been glorified to any roblox avatar that uses R6, a blocky build, or a roblox cosplay. It is also regularly used for people who play Regretevator, Phighting, and mostly Forsaken.

A phrase used to describe an experience, avatar or person on Roblox that tries too hard to replicate the 2006-2010 aesthetic of Roblox. Such as having overstylized avatars that use aspects of the aesthetic, spamming the stud texture on every surface, or pretending to have been there during the "classic" era of Roblox.
