Another way of saying "be nice to me". Said because in India, cows are worshipped as gods, and in Britain, cows are mistreated and are allowed to get hoof and mouth disease and mad cow disease.

Indian

Descriptive term used interchangably until recently to describe two different groups of people:

1) East Indians; origin of India

2) Native Americans; origin of North America.

While Indian is still an apt descriptive term of those who hail from the country India it is best avoided when used to refer to those who originated in North America. Some consider it to be politically incorrect but the bigger issue is probably the tendency for misunderstanding and confusion in our modern global society.

The new student in school is Indian.

Casino Indian

(n.) Used to distinguish an Indian that lives on a reservation on the US (Native American), from a 7/11 Indian which comes from India or somewhere in the Middle East.

John - Dude, i just met this HOT Indian.
Ben - That's cool.. wait, was she a 7/11 Indian or a Casino Indian?
John - A Casino Indian.

Indiana

A state in the center of the Mid-West known for it's corn.
The people of Indiana, known as Hoosiers, are stereotyped as Hicks. However, most of us hoosiers act just like regular people (at least in central Indiana, I'm pretty sure you'll find some Hicks in Northern and Sounthern Indiana). We're very important for most of the country's popcorn comes from us, we have one of the world's best children hospital and we have an incredible art museum. Most people on Urban Dictionary say this but they insist that all the hicks are from Kentucky, those people are hypocrites for insisting that their stereotype is false by stereotyping another type of people.

I take pride in being from Indiana, I take pride in being a Hoosier.

Standard Indian Time

A time schedule used by people from India that generally runs between a half hour to an hour behind the general accepted time of the area. Often this frustrates or annoys other people not on the SIT schedule. It also be abreviated as SIT.
