Mockvertorial

When you mock, endorse, and advertise a product in one go in written or electronic/video form. Combination of the terms"mock" + "advertorial".

Prime example would be JP Spears and other guru videos on various products. Term orginally coined by blogger/social media marketing specialist Ritche Awit.

Have you seen JP Spears latest mockvertorial on CBD products on youtube? The guy totally bashed CBD and yet he still endorsed the product. Can you believe that?

mockolate

Fake chocolate on "Friends". Monica did a gig as a chef for the mockolate promoters. They wanted mockolate to become the traditional food of Thanksgiving. It bubbled, people made a face when they ate it. Phoebe said it was what evil tasted like.

The company that made it went out of business, but they still paid Monica. That was pretty cool, assuming the check cleared.

Monica: Okay, this is pumpkin pie with mockolate cookie crumb crust. This is mockolate cranberry cake, and these are mockolate chip cookies. Just like the Indians served.

mockumentary

a film that has the look and feel of a television documentary, but with the irreverent humor and slapstick of a comedy, designed to "mock" the documentary or subject it features.

"Drop Dead Gorgeous," which ridicules a local Minnesota beauty pageant, is the illegitimate child of "This Is Spinal Tap" -- a weak link in the people-are-stupid tradition. In that it portrays a group of film students making a documentary about a local witch legend, "The Blair Witch Project" is not unlike those "the making of" movie documentaries with which subscribers to HBO and Showtime are all too familiar.

mock trial

Mock Trial is the most intense activity you can get yourself into. Students play the roles of witnesses, attorneys, clerks, and bailiffs. It requires a HUGE amount of confidence and speaking ability. You also have to be witty and able to handle large amounts of pressure. Mock Trialers tend sleep very little and have no social lives, however, this pays off when applying to college. Mock Trialers need to be very smart in order to keep up with their grades and the high amounts of energy to win!

Mock Triaers are the hardest working people you will ever meet. I 100% gurantee it.

Guy #1: Hey dude, do you want to go to the party on saturday?

Guy #2: No sorry man, I can't. I have a Mock Trial competition in Arizona I have to be at all next week!

Guy #1: Oh, ok. Have fun!
