Jumbleaya

An improvised meal consisting of rice, legumes(usually beans or lentils), and whatever else happens to be readily available.

Dishes originally intended to be Jambalaya or Dal Bhat that lack key ingredients or contain ingredients far outside the original cuisine can be called Jumbleaya.

The fridge was empty, so I mixed up some black beans and rice and curry powder into a sort of Jumbleaya.
