Slang for nightclub. Derived from European pronunciation of club. Can also be spelled "clüb" (with an umlaut). Typically populated by guidos, persians, and SE Asians wearing tight, shiny clothes, or Ed Hardy shirts, who love Eurotrash trance music. Term most often used by hipsters and yuppies to emphasize the irony of their cloob attendance.

Clod

Someone who is "too big for their body". They can't do anything without bumping into someone. When they sit down they just flop, most likely bothering the person they sit down next to. People like this are mainly found in public areas, like movie theaters, restaurants, etc. These people are also very ignorant. They sit down behind you at the movies, kicking your seat multiple times, without even saying "Excuse me" or "Sorry". Nope, they just clod their way on through life.

I'm just trying to watch this new movie and some clod kicks my seat 4 times without saying anything.

Clooney Effect

When a guy is too good looking and intimidates any surrounding social group. The guy is considered to be so good looking (like the actor George Clooney) that he has a hard time getting woman to trust him because they think he's a player. Also the men around him get jealous and try to push you out of the social group with drama so they have a better chance with the women in the group.

Girl: "Hey, I don't get a good vibe from him, he's very handsome and I think he's a player"

Girl2: "Yea, he suffers from the Clooney Effect, give him a chance though... don't judge too quickly."
