Buffer Singles

1 or more single dollar bills placed between dollar bills of a larger denomination (like 20's, 50's, or Benjamins). Used to hide the larger bills, in order to fool people into thinking you have less money than you actually have.

Guy 1: I was opening my wallet today to get out my train ticket, when a hobo walked around begging for money.

Guy 2: Oh, man. He didn't get a 20 out of you, did he?

Guy 1: Nah, thankfully he only saw my buffer singles. All he got was 1 dollar.

Bufferedtalk

When you're in a conversation with somebody who's on their phone, and there's this uncomfortable delay similar to when you're watching a streaming show, and there are the "three dots" that show up, and the show is delayed and buffered because you're waiting for a connection, the same thing happens in a conversation with somebody focused on there phone, the dialogue is choppy and has no flow.

I was having a chat with my honey about some interesting subject matter, and for some reason, the conversation wasn't flowing; that's when I realized she was on her phone; I was unaware we were having a bufferedtalk,

A person (friend or stranger) you elect to walk in front of you in a crowded area, acting as a shield from the surrounding masses and allowing safe passage by following closely in their wake.

The hallway was very crowded so i found a crowd buffer so I wouldn't have to wade through them

Ghetto Buffer

The area of ghetto and bad neighborhoods that separates a major city from the surrounding suburbs. To get to downtown, one must either go through, or around the Ghetto Buffer.

Wife: Honey, why are you getting on the freeway? It's a shorter trip on the smaller roads because of all the traffic on the interstate.
Husband: I'm not driving this car through those shitty neighborhoods. We have to avoid the Ghetto Buffer.
