Christian perspective - Inoruj means to be free. Set free from sin. Free from the chains of Satan and bondage.

Our most basic need is to be ransomed by Jesus. Since Adam sinned we were all dead and became slaves to sin; but when Christ came we died with Him and rose with Him. We were made alive with Him and so, we are dead to sin. We have been set free by Him - once we were slaves Christ died for us. (John 8:36. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed).
