Every action they take is to that end and it isn't cute. They will do it to YOU if you get out of line. And they aren't an authority capable of making that decision and acting on it legally. They aren't calling my bluff. They are absolving themselves so that THEY THEMSELVES don't have to live with the consequences of MY decision. MY decision will be final. Theirs is not. I'm not jumping through hoops. I'm not going to do it myself. Their plan is to sit there and AFFIRM me and then refuse to do anything other that affirmation and it is going to get someone's kid killed if you let it. The affirmation isn't enough. Hym gets what he wants and he gets it now or one unlucky contestant gets a free and immediate trip to heaven."

The neighbor and friend you grew up with that is now way too embarrassing to hang out with at school, but is sorta ok to hang out with when you are at home with nothing to do.

Yes, we were friends in grammar school but now she's pretty much an "at home only friend."
