To un-commit to something last minute. This can be used in a situation when someone was got a rejection after the agreement was made.
History - This word became popular when a company named Data Dog, evoked offers of many applicants only few days before their joining date.

My date datadogged me 5 minutes before the meeting time.
The employer datadogged me by evoking an offer two days before the joining date.
