friend genetics

friend genetics is basically when you like someone really badly but that person only sees you as a friend which makes you feel like you will only be just a friend to anyone and it makes you have several panic attacks daily and you want to die.

Person 1: “Dude, y’know that girl you like?”
Person 2: “Yeah. What about her?”
Person 1: *smh* “I saw her making out with someone else in the halls. I guess you just got those friend genetics.”
Person 2: “Aw…shit. Well, I’m going to go cut myself and have a panic attack until i found someone else to obsess over.”

Alien Genetics

The hypothetical study of the hereditary information system used by extraterrestrial life, which may bear no resemblance to Earth's DNA/RNA/protein model. It's the search for the "code of life" when the coding language, hardware, and storage medium are all unknown. Could it be based on different nucleotides, use a quadruple helix, be stored in crystalline lattices, or be a non-chemical informational pattern? Alien genetics posits that DNA is just Earth's local software, and the galactic app store has other, unimaginable programs for building and running a organism.

Example: An Alien Genetics lab wouldn't sequence "genes"; it would try to decipher how a silicon-based microbe on Titan passes on its structural lattice patterns to its "offspring," or how a plasma-based entity in a star's atmosphere maintains its coherent form and replicates information magnetically. It's genetics without the central dogma.

Artificial Generic Intelligence

The level of artificial intelligence humans in the present moment think AI should be able to achieve in the future based only on current needs, expectations, and imagination. It’s basically a moving baseline of “AI smart enough” that will always look outdated in hindsight. It's not what AI actually can do, but what we, stuck in the present, assume it should do one day.

In 2025, people might say a “generic intelligent” AI should be able to wash dishes, write essays, drive cars, and do taxes.

In 2050, those same expectations might sound dumb, because maybe no one even has dishes, homework, or taxes anymore.

Back in the 1800s, artificial generic intelligence would’ve been an AI that milks cows and writes letters for you. Now that’s writing essay and doing taxes, in future would there even be any need of essays.
