To redirect you path like make a U-turn try again ,to rebound , to circle about a area ,like RETRACING short slang "re enter or re do "to re start , re gaurd , repeat,go over , ect.

i missed my turn so ..."Re-in-tray" , your direction or , path . to look for a address , place , street , building , or spot back step ,"retrace" i.e. retray your directions , it was around this spot mabe we passed it ,or over looked it before !
