Pre-ex

Pre-ex refers to your ex boyfriend/girlfriend before the break up. Many people get confused when someone refers to their ex if they are talking about before or after the break up.

If a person says, "My ex burned my house down" you wouldn't know if the ex boyfriend/girlfriend burned the house down while they were still dating and that's why they broke up or if they broke up and then the ex boyfriend/girlfriend burned the house down.

Bro 1: Bro I made out with my Pre-ex a lot.
Bro 2: Nice, so who you making out with now?

pre-cough swallow

Refers to where you feel a cough coming on while your mouth is full of food/drink, and so you hastily down the entire mouthful so that your mouth and throat will be free to expel the cough "cleanly", rather than there being a humongous "geyser" of messy stuff to go flying all over the place and disgustingly splattering everything within a several-foot radius.

I'd just swallowed a big bite of spicy-hot chili and was in the process of washing it down with a swig of cold milk when I felt an overpowering urge to choke, so I did a hasty pre-cough swallow to avoid a spluttery shower of tomato-tinted milk all over my new tablecloth.

Pre-Defense

the feeling of preparing yourself for a discussion or an argument. You make sure that every fact, opinion or point that you want to make gets across exactly how you would want it to if you were actually saying it to someone in person. It makes you feel as if you "won" the argument or got your point across successfully because you actually thought it out, when in reality all you did was go over what you said to yourself in the shower, in the mirror, or even to your mom. Most people get this feeling when they know or feel as though they are about to get into an argument or if they feel heavily about a topic they already know what they want to say. Usually when it gets to the argument or the discussion most people forget what they "planned" to say and just start speaking without thinking about what they already thought about.

My roommate had a pre-defense to her and her boyfriend's argument.
