prog

Short for 'Proggressive rock'. A kind of music, usually typified by very long songs with complex structures and time signatures. It started with bands like Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Yes, etc, and bands like Dream Theatre, Opeth, The Mars Volta and Tool all have strong prog influences, making the old prog stereotype of a middle-aged bearded man in a wizard outfit tediously wanking off his guitar pretty much redundant.

Muse are better in their proggier moments...

Prog Frog

A person who loves progressive music, whether it'd be Progressive Rock or Progressive Metal, Experimental or Neo-Prog, he loves the genre. Usually prog bands like ELP, King Crimson, Genesis, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Frost*, Haken etc...

My brother Matt, he's such a Prog Frog. His record collection consists of Frank Zappa, Dream Theater, Rush, King Crimson, Yes and bands of that nature.

phroken

/pronounced like broken but with a f/ Adjective and highly irregular past participle of 'freak out' meaning: drunk, under the influence of drugs, under the weather, melancholy, alienated from the world, ill or generally dissatisfied. This broad umbrella term can be used for a number of negative feelings which generally mean: feeling bad or looking unwell.

Check out that phroken dude, man! He must have downed ten sixpacks of beer at least.
