mass action

Scientific terminology indicating multiple steps between a cause and effect. In actuality, the term is a glorified synonym for 'yadda yadda yadda'. It is also used as a filler statement when the speaker does not know how something occurs, but doesn't want to look stupid.

"I got blackout drunk at that party last year, and by the law of mass action, I gotta pay child support."

Normally used for forums and message boards, and instant messaging. It's the act of placing "*"'s around a verb or phrase to signify thaty it's on action.

Today on AIM I used some crazy action stars to express my feelings!

Action stars are great for terms like *cuts*, *cries*, and *slices*.

Noun: a fart that occurs when a the farter exerts themselves in a manner usually unassociated with the act of farting itself. Often associated with lifting heavy objects or laughing hysterically. This fart is always unintentional.

Fartee: Help me moves this couch, will ya?

Farter: Sure. *grunts*

Fart: thbbtbtbthbbt.

Fartee: What? Did you just fart when you picked up your end of the couch?

Farter: Sure did. Couldn't be helped. Action fart.

Fartee: No doubt.
