F.A.S. (fake accent syndrome)

When "Asian" telecallers start speaking with a fake American accent after being on the job for a week. Usually done when they're meeting people for the first time; it usually disappears in a half hour or so because they can't escape the urge to talk normally again.

She was a pretty girl with a hot personality but when her F.A.S. (fake accent syndrome) kicks in she is so YUCK !!

Person 1: That was a great "seg-you" in the conversation
Person 2: You mean segue?
Person 1: Yeah, please excuse my reader's accent.

Possible influences include tv, movies, peers, country of location and random people on the street.

Watching America comedy has given me hectic Sympathetic Accent Syndrome (SAS)! My mum thinks I sound very unrefined..

a condition in which a person unwittingly speaks his/her language with a foreign accent, usually due to a disease such as migraine and stroke.

After recovering from a stroke, the Englishman began talking with an Irish accent. It is a case of foreign accent syndrome.
