Dumpsgiving

On Dumpsgiving, the day after thanksgiving, families spend the day going from restaurant to restaurant eating dumplings of all varieties, sizes, and shapes. In NYC, some families consider it as important, if not more, as thanksgiving itself.

I went light on the thanksgiving turkey so I would be ready for Dumpsgiving. I must have eaten 50 Dumplings!

dumpsgiving is a time of year, from mid-october to mid-december, especially time around thanksgiving, hence the name "dumpsgiving", when college students dump their high school boyfriends/girlfriends.

Durfsgiving 

A national holiday celebrated annually in which an equal amount of males and females come together to celebrate. Celebrations include taking turns durfing each of your closest friends in expression of thanks. Typically Durfsgiving is celebrated on the evening of the third Thursday of November after family Thanksgiving celebrations have concluded, but can be celebrated on any night during the year as many times as you want. :)

Durfsgiving is culturally and linguistically connected to the popular holiday "Funkaween"

Dudsgiving 

DudsGiving is the name for the holiday when you find yourself surrounded by family and or friends where, unfortunately, the climate is less than lively. We all know there are two types of people in this world, funsters or duds, you are one or the other, and if you don’t know which one, you’re probably a dud. Just one of those holidays ... 1. Choosing, not through extenuating circumstances such as being on a movie set or hiking, choosing, when the option to do otherwise exists, choosing to forego bowel movements so that when you finally dump the result is fantastic.
