1) A Crusader is someone who joined the Pope sanctioned wars in the 11th, 12th, and 13th century. They usually joined the Crusades to cleanse their sins or show devotion to God.

2) A staunch attacker of a certain belief, act, etc.

A term that has gained prominence in the Western media and Muslim networks (such as Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabya) since the September 11, 2001, attacks prompted the production and release of audio tapes by jihadists (some of whom are in the terrorist network al-Qaeda, aka The Base) in which Western governments, and their military forces, are referred to as The Crusaders. Presumably, this is a throwback to Medieval times when Christian states in Europe occupied Muslim lands in the name of religion while actually promoting old-fashioned Roman-style imperialism. "Imperialists" and "Crusaders" are interchangeably used in the audio tapes, videos, and published statements of terrorist and jihadist leaders throughout the middle east.

CRUSADER 

a crusader is a girl that was just played on or been cheated on. Once this happens, she's gets some sort of internal power like Captain Planet (When your powers combine...) and feels she can be a voice for all women. She'll listen to songs 24/7 such as "Independent Women", "Bills Bills Bills, or even "Scrubs by TLC." I hate this shit cause they try to influence girls with boyfriends on how to treat them. It's a term for a character in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders who's going on a travel to Egipt to defeat DIO . Crusaders are: Joseph Joestar, Jotaro Kujo ,Mohamed Avdol , Jean Pierre Polnareff, Noriaki Kakyoin and Iggy.

My favourite crusader is Jotaro Kujo. I love his Star Platinum and Ora Ora
