1. An extremely common term usually uttered by one experiencing either physical or mental pain. Though usually associated with literal injury, can also be said when the user is the recipient of some insult or burn. Sarcastic undertones signify the user's view that the attempted insult or injury was ineffective.

2. An acceptable nick-name for one who over-uses the phrase "ouch". Usually meant as an insult, it can be a term of endearment under certain circumstances.
