A person that comes from south of Interstate 80 to hunt in Northern Pennsylvania for bear or deer. Usually these people have unnecessarily large trunks such as Ford F-350s or Dodge 3500 series.

That flat lander shot a deer out of his brand new F-350.

An expression heard monthly over the PA system in schools informing teachers that their paychecks are in. This is often mocked and made fun of by students.

The announcement echoed over the PA system: "Teachers, the eagle has landed."

land squid 

The most adorable of sea creatures that has evolved to live on land in order to attend law school. The land squid will be your best friend, but does NOT apprecitate haters. The land squid spends most of its time doing homework and studying in her little squid cave. The little land squid becomes most pleased when it has a piece of candy, a rare steak, or noonies.
