Used in message boards to denote a topic that should be kept on the first page through a process known as bumping. Translates to "Great topic, this should be read by everyone." If a thread is worthy enough and succeeds in generating a large pool of bumpers, a moderator will usually come in and sticky the topic.

Helped me a lot, and will help others too. Keep this bumped!
To fail badly at something, while suggesting there was an element of unluckiness or inevitability working against you or the subject of said failure.
A slightly slicker way of saying 'epic fail' or 'botched' and a quicker way of saying 'crashed and burned' while lacking the culpability of 'screwed up'.
a: How'd it go with what's-her-name last night?

a: Oh... Wait, what?
X: How's the derivatives business going? Still trading CDS and sub-prime mortgages?
Y: Nah, market bombed out, wasn't my fault.
X: Yes it was you sack of shit!

DARE officer: "What was that!?"
Boy: "I said 'I really bombed on your quiz'!"
DARE officer: "Oh, well study harder next time."
