The New Mexican saying derived from "carpe diem". Carpe manana in english is "seize tommarow" expressing the states laid back attitude.
I take it slow for my motto is carpe manana.

Latin for "seize the babe." Said around attractive people as a means of appreciation.

Before a long car ride you always have to carpe piem.
We are not stopping; mommy told you to carpe piem at the last rest stop.
I don't care if you don't have to go - carpe piem is not our family motto for nothing.

Literally means "seize the poon". Used as a term of motivation for a guy to go talk to a girl and eventually have sex with her.
Guy 1: That girl over there is kind of pretty.
Guy 2: Go talk to her.
Guy 1: Nah its Alright.
