To "seize the day" and/or a certain moment in time.

To put aside all differences, all fears, all worries, and just go for it.

To make the most out of that part of time.

Carpe Diem more often or you will miss out on life and never truely be happy.

We are not stopping; mommy told you to carpe piem at the last rest stop.
I don't care if you don't have to go - carpe piem is not our family motto for nothing.

Literally means "seize the poon". Used as a term of motivation for a guy to go talk to a girl and eventually have sex with her.
