americanize

To redefine the perceived meaning of wealth on earth and brainwash people into pursuing it.
European #1: I would really like some Ranch Dip. It would make me feel rich and classy.
European #2: But Franz, you are a German Lord. How would Ranch Dip make you feel -
European #1: Ein Qviet! I am NOT shplecking to you about zee ranch. It has a taste that makes me feel as though I am fighting Indians in Texas.
European #2: Das Boot! You have become...AMERICANIZED!
European #1: Indeed. For some reason my rich heritage has become meaningless to me and I only desire material wealth such as Blue Jeans and expensive cars.
European #2: Hmmmm. Do you want to move to California?

americanised

Used most commonly by those that live in the United Kingdom/Britain or accross the pond.

Describes and denotes the sheer lack of:
- intelect
- self-respect
- creativity
- government services
in an area and where its population can be:
- obsessed with fast food
- clinicly obese
- unable to speak English GB
- unable to write English GB or traditional Prose.
- consisting of chavs
- unable to get 80 on an IQ test
- very communal, no such thing in traditional England, we hate our neighbours.

Note: this word is NOT spelt with a Z.

The act of Americanisation is where something is made to comply with the above. Americanising a community would consist of getting a McDonalds built.
Where the streets seem very, very straight, like 5 Roman Roads all connecting.

American franchises hanging everywhere, like KFC, McDonalds etc.

To turn something into total shit.
Cardcaptor Sakura was considered an excellent anime by many, but when Sakura and everyone else was Americanized, several fans committed seppuku, even though they weren't worth it.

americanised

Something which has been dumbned-down so much as to be suitable for people of an extremely low (or even negative) IQ.
The making of everything worse.
Wow i can't believe that everything is americanised nowadays

Americanisation

Where somehow the unpleasant and unloving way of living life is somehow attractive and everyone else in the world tries to copy, ultimately making the world a much less nice place.
There is this guy in School. Everyone hates him but unfortunately he has loads of money, meaning he has power (that's how things work in the primitive economic world of the school yard) so everyone pretends to agree with him, and picks on the people he doesn't like.

George: I hate that like Iraqi kid.
Tony: Yeah! Me too!
George: Let's beat him up!
Tony: Yeah!

Eventually, all the other kids will gang up on the other guy and beat him up, and it'll be the ones that got really picked on - like the Iraqi kid and the Vietnamese one - who will be kicking him where it hurts. But when they kick him in the testicles, they won't call it that. They won't be kicking in the goolies, the couille, the ÿéöî, the Ei, or any of their traditional words for the gonads. They'll be kicking him in the nuts, and that's americanisation for you.

americanized

Anime or Manga that has been edited so as to not include what the authors originally intended. This editing is to make it possible to send this product into the minds of small children who aren't smart enough to understand americanization makes the product crappy and are unable to get it the proper way, straight from Japan.
Yu-Gi-Oh is what happens when americanization gets out of hand.

Americanism

Any American-ized word or phrase, such as changing the spelling of words to sound as they mis-pronounce them, using 4 syllables or words where 1 would have sufficed, or inventing a new word or phrase because it sounds nicer (most commonly heard whenever they are 'fighting for peace' again).
Color, Armor, Boro, Aluminum, Leftenant (??), putting Z's instead of S's in words, or using clunky acronyms because they make a meaningful word (Arrogant American Alliance with Rightwing Goverments against Hope!, or Aaargh!)

Weapons Of Mass Destruction (Nukes), The Road Map (Plan), Freedom Fighters (terrorists we like), Terrorists (anyone we don't), Terrorist Suspect (anyone), Liberating <insert name of latest militarily inferior country that has weapons we supplied and something we want> in the Name of Peace and Democracy (slaughter and pillage <name>), Anti-American (anyone who disagrees), Anti-American Activist (anyone that tries to stop us), Our Friends and Allies in Europe (anyone with nukes), 9/11 (oops, apparently having nukes doesn't make you immune to retaliation), Pulling Together in the War for Democracy! (so c'mon England, lets make some NEW enemies!).
