A special state of mind, usually referring to a special "view".
When you're surprised by something wonderful or really great, you get the "wow effect".
Usually the state of the wow effect is gained when a hot chick is seen.

Used as an inside joke for some people. (Mostly by too educated people to be able to simply say "wow") -> freaks

"Hey look at that chick!"
"WOW, look at that ass." (wow effect is created)

"Those boobs got the wow effect written all over them"

Effect of surprise by getting to know an awesome new fact that ´ll change the life of the involved person basically for ever. Often seen by the use of DMT.

After loading ~ 50 mg of clean jungle spice in to the pipe and smoking it, I get the wow effect.

The WoW Effect

The effect caused by a video game that causes one or more people to care about nothing but the video game. Given the choice, someone effected by this would rather avoid any conversation or activity that has no relivance to the game they play. Most commonly seen with World of Warcraft (The WoW Effect)
