psychiatric vacation

A popular practice in prison when a convict reaches a level of boredom or emptiness so severe that he or she embarks upon a plan to go “playcrazy” in order to get some sightseeing done and a temporary change in housing and usually much better meals in what may be an ingenious process of self-care.
I knew that I’d be seen as manipulative if I followed through with my prison savvy plan to take a psychiatric vacation but I was willing to suffer the blowback because quite frankly, my emotional needs are more important than my reputation at this point in my life.

armchair psychiatrist

A person who gives advice for mental disorders, emotional disorders, or any other mental illness and has no known background knowledge or psychiatry. More than just advice with no clinical know how.
I was at work and some a-hole that I was talking to tried to give me advice on my ADD, he even offered me ways to obtain ADD medication, what an a-hole armchair psychiatrist!

Psychiatric disorder

An illness of the mind or brain which causes major disruption in a person's thinking, feelings and behaviour, and which is serious enough to require medical intervention. Also known as mental illness or mental disorder.

Psychiatrist

Subhuman con-artists who specialize in deceiving the naive into believing the problems they have can be explained in pseudo-medical jargon, only to further the dangerously experimental agenda of the pharmaceutical industry, regularly profiting in direct correlation to how many of these drugs they can push onto the general public.
I've visited 6 different psychiatrists and received 6 completely different diagnoses, none of their "medications" or opinions helped in in any which way.

Psychiatrizationism

Psychiatrizationism is the idea of psychiatrization of life and of the human condition as an ideology that is slowly becoming hegemonic inside the scientific community such as scientific centrism is also becoming hegemonic, where the whole life and human condition are reason of psychiatric treatment.
"Psychiatrizationism shows how psychiatrization of life and of human condition is a crue thing and must be countered by everyone who disagrees with it and knows it is a big absurd, even more absurd than psychoanalysis."
