Homotism is the expression of man’s exclusive focus on himself because of an erroneous belief that homo sapiens (mankind), the sole surviving species of the genus homo, is superior to all other species on earth and that this superiority gives mankind dominance and rights over all other life forms.
Homotism erroneously proposes that human characteristics, such as consciousness, altruism,
intelligence, culture, creativity, morality, warfare, language, problem solving, monogamy, family,
tool use, invention, innovation, flexibility, spirit, grieving and soul are behaviors reserved exclusively for mankind.
