One of the shows once aired on Nickelodeon, but is now rarely seen. It wasn't my favorite show back then, but now that I've seen some of Nick's latest crap, I'd watch this show again in a heartbeat.
The show features four kids living in southern California who are so fucking beastly awesome at any sport ever invented, period. Most people think "OMFG WTF KIDS CAN'T DO THAT WOW LAME SHOW," but, there are kids whose lives consist of only extreme sports, and most of them would actually be quite capable of the stunts in the show. (Though you have to give it a little leeway... it IS a cartoon, after all.)
Reggie, Otto, Twister, and Sam (Squid) are the kids in the show. They're all amazing, except Reggie can be annoying sometimes and Squid fails at anything except playing goalie.

Rocket Power actually encouraged kids to go out and play, unlike the shows of today that encourage kids to sit at home and play video games all day.

Rocket Power 

The BEST show ever aired on Nickelodeon! It's about four kids that live in California and are awesome at every extreme sport ever invented. The characters are Otto, Reggie, Twister, and Sam. Otto is a little cocky and concieted. He has red hair with dread locks. Reggie is the only girl in the gang because she is a tom-boy. She has purple hair and nobody knows why. Shes pretty nice though. Twister is my favorite character because he is really funny and cool. He wears a hat and a small piece of his hair sticks out. He's also kind of stupid but whatever. The last and least is Sam. He's so fat!! He's from Kansas and he has blond hair and glasses. He's also a nerd. His mom is really over protective! He's weird but he is a killer goalie!! They always call visitors of there beach shoobies which i find hilarious!!! They also always do this woogie woogie thing which is pretty funny. if you dont like rocket power you need help. NOW!

Otto: Yo dude, look! Here comes those stupid shoobies!
Twister: Uhh... i hate those guys! They always get in our way while we are trying to surf! IDIOTS!
Sam: My moma's gonna go balistic when she sees that i got my shirt all sandy!
Twister: Shut up Sam! No one cares!!
Reggie: Twister thats no way to talk to the new kid!
Otto: Look! Watch me hang 10!
Reggie:It's not that cool!
Otto:Shut up or i tell Raymundo!
Reggie:I dont care...

Rocket Power 

Pretty awesome show that used to air on Nick. It was about a group of four kids that loved to hang doing many sports and even do extreme sports! Reggie Rocket is the only girl in the gang since not only is she that sister of Otto Rocket, but she is very athletic and tomboyish. Otto is like a jock in that he is really competitive and can get ugly jealous if some one steals his thunder, but usually he can get over it. Twister (Maurice) is also athletic, and handles making videos of Otto and the gang tearing up the pipe or doing awesome moves anywhere else. Sam (squid) is the latest member of the gang and took up the position of squid from twist after he moved. He's from Kansas, and is your average kid who is usually on the smarts and electronics side. When he tries at sports, he gets the hang of it, but isn't as good as the others. Together they play many sports and even hang out at a restaurant that their dad owns. The show did have funny moments as well as some serious ones. It helped kids want to go out side more, and it's way better than most to maybe 90% of the shows that air on now a days...
Also shoobie on the show was a term for people that wore shoes or even sandals with socks on the beach. (SHOE-BEAch) This is based from an episode as well as wikipedia.

It's not everyone's favorite show, but it was a cartoon and some either just didn't get the humor, style it was drawn in, or just the show in general.

An incredibly horrible show that Nickelodeon thinks is "cool". Words that are considered 'cool' used in the show are:

1. Major beef (when someone falls)
2. leik DuuuDDEE!!111!!!
3. Poundage
4. And much more.

And not only that, to make it seem 'cooler', the words have its own screen with flowing colors. Pathetic. Poor expressions, bad story plots, and EVERYONE in the world can skateboard, do tricks, and speak in "cool". IT'S SENSELESS! The music also stinks, and everyone acts like the 4 main characters are ALWAYS the leader. -_-;;
