EFP is an Explosively Formed Penetrator. The penetrator fires a superheated cone of metal through the vehicle's armor. This includes the million dollar Mine Resistant Ambush Protective Vehicle.
MRAPV
Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles (MRAPV or just MRAP). Vehicles used in war to protect soldiers. The new ones cost a million dollars and are vulnerable to EFP's.

The woman who woke up the next day naked in places they had no memory of going to, said their last memory was of falling sleepy after drinking lemonade at the local soda shop.

Initially it is hard for some to grasp the fact that they have lost a limb, because they can feel intense pain where their limb was. There are methods to reorient the mind so that the pain goes away or is greatly reduced.
