The eight long years from Jan. 20, 1981-Jan. 20,1989. The Republican president, Ronald Wilson Reagan worked hard as commander in chief in the war on the middle class. The heinous eCONomic policy called "trickle down economics" or Reganomics cut taxes on the big businesses and the rich. This shifted the tax burden to the middle class and tripled the national debt. Dennis Miller described "trickle down" best when he acknowledged this truth: "they admit it-- they're gonna piss on you!"
Along with the terrible eCONomic policy, Ronald Reagan worked to destroy unions (remember air traffic controllers' strike?) During the Reagan Administration, the U.S. backed Saddam Hussein during his war with Iran and helped to establish the Taliban to help Afganistan fight off the Soviet Union. (Funny how the G.O.P. changed course on this)

Bentley Little takes on ordinary subjects and exploites and exaggerates their possiblities for nefarious activities. In The Store he looks behind the scenes of a Wal-mart-like mega store and the terrible effects it has on a small town. In The Policy, he looks a the very real scenario of insurance companies controlling and ruining lives. Most of Bentley Little's books are scary because they seem like they actually could happen.

Get the Bentley Littlemug. An awesome, yet little know in U.S.A, 70s metal band. The band, from Cardiff, Whales; had a major impact on metal bands of the 80s and 90s. The sound is a combination of Rush and Black Sabbath. Burke Shelly (bass/vocals), Tony Bourge (guitar), and Ray Phillips (drums). Shelly's voice resembles Getty Lee and Bourge's hard driving guitar riffs resemble Black Sabbath.
Budgie is underrated but very influentual. Metallica is a big fan of Budgie, they even recorded their song "Breadfan."

Get the Budgiemug. Reference to controversial plan to build a Mosque and "community center" in New York City, near the site of Ground Zero. The controversy and outrage comes from the 9/11 terrorist attacks involving Muslims and the victims' families still in mourning. Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man behind the plan, is either extremely insensitive to the 9/11 victims or a truly obscene terrorist sympathizer!
Many people were rightfully appalled when the Ground Zero Mosque received approval from the NYC building commission! Whether intentional or not, the location of Rauf's planned Mosque is really a bad idea.

Get the Obama Bashersmug. A redundant defintion occurs when someone submits a word to the Urban Dictionary that has already been published. This can either be caused by failing to look up the word before submitting it or by a dumbass who doesn't care if the word is already in the UD.
This term does not apply to an entirely different meaning or to a rebuttal defintion, but to a definition that is almost or exactly the same as a previous entry.

In December 2010 the tax cuts were set to expire. President Obama and the Congressional Democrats wanted to let the tax cuts for the richest 2% expire and extend the tax cuts for the other 98%. Also at this time, the federal unemployment payments were set to end. Congressional Republicans didnot want to extend the unemployment benefits because it was "too costly," so they held the long-term unemployed hostage until Democrats extended the tax cuts for the richest 2%!!!
Obviously, the Democrats went along for the sake of the unemployed and to keep the tax cuts for those that actualy needed them. Republicans showed their true colors (caring only for the rich) while the Democrats were again the ones showing fiscal resposibility!
