Adult Alternative

Form of soft rock that has more structure to it and is more catchy than regular soft rock. Usually has a much more "mature" sound than normal rock. Bands are usually played more on VH1 than MTV.

The musicians in these bands usually are in their 30s, dress quite modestly, and are generally some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They just seem like people you'd run into at a grocery store.

Coldplay, Sting, Maroon 5, and bands similar to them.

Reminiscent of the hunched over cave man, with his arms to the ground. An insult used against those of extremely low intelligence, or general stupidity.

similar to the term "forget about it". Used as a filler in conversation to express agreement. Also used to express contempt or disgust.

Slang for "wack ass" To be used when ass is inapporpiate (in school) or insufficent. Other forms include fass "fat ass" or drass "drunk ass." Can be used in combination

"Dude, you are such a wass."

"That wass-fass just ate a whole pizza."

Verb. To overly exaggerate and draw attention to ones self.

"Look at that guy screaming over there on the basketball court, he must have really got hurt."
"No he does it every week, he is just pulling a gahm."
