Tootooie

Over-the-top in a way that’s excessive, weird, or hard to explain, just too much.

The cake was piled so high with icing, sprinkles, and glittery toppings that it looked more like a craft project than dessert, the cake was tootooie.

Boubie

A soft, affectionate nickname used for someone you love, adore, or have a close bond with. Often used playfully and with warmth, Boubie can refer to anyone who holds a special place in your heart.

Sounds like “whoopee” with a B.

Licknstick

A fast painting method used when time is tight, but the result still needs to look presentable. Involves basic surface prep like plastering with light sanding, followed by a quick coat or two of paint. Common in renovations, or any job where speed matters but standards still count. A blend from the terms 'lick of paint' and 'stick it' meaning to get it done quickly.

We had two days to turn the place around, so I did a quick flastering job then gave the walls a licknstick, it came up looking schmick.

Siiwee

A playful, affectionate way to say someone is being silly, goofy, or acting a bit daft but in the sweetest, most endearing way possible. Often used with kids, mates, or pets when they’re messing around or doing something harmlessly cheeky.

He got all siiwee after a couple of beers and started doin’ the hokey pokey.

Flastering

A quick, single-coat plastering technique where the surface is plastered and sanded as soon as dry, in quick succession. Usually used to prep a wall or ceiling for painting. Common in renovation or patch-up jobs where time is limited but a decent finish is required. Blend of the words fast + plastering.

Mate, we were running behind, so I just did a quick flastering job on the ceiling, she'll be right once it's had a lick of paint.

Poots

A playful term for feces or a bowel movement. Originated in a family setting and often said with a grin or sometimes mild exasperation.

We were five minutes late to the kindy cause little Max dropped a poots right as we were heading out the door.

Being a bit silly, said after the fact.

Joe did something silly and luckily didn't get hurt, Julie's reaction was only to say, 'a bitsiiwee'
