asteroid

Any rock floating about in outer space. There is a whole bunch of suck rocks floating about in outer space between the earth and mars, and this is known as the asteroid belt. When a stray asteroid gets heavily influenced by a planet's gravitation field, when it strays to close to the said planet, and eventually ends up crashing into that planet, the asteroid becomes a meteorite. If it does not end up crashing in, but grazes the atmosphere, or burns up in the aire itself, it is known as a meteor.

One of the largest asteroids is named after the gaulish God of the sky, Tautatis.

royal flush

royal flush is the gambling game played by the bad guys in old bollywood movies, and the one where there is ample scope to cheat by having a couple of aces up your sleeve.
The winning hand in this game is also called the royal flush, which is getting three cards of the same type. Getting three aces is the strongest hand in the game.

I gambled everything I had in a game of Royal Flush and lost.

phoon

1) v. phooning is the act of striking a pose where all the limbs are bent at the joints, and the body is bent forward at the waist. One of the arms is rotted towards the front, and the other is rotated towards the back. The foot not touching the ground hangs over your butt. Both arms should be on opposite sides, it doesen't matter which one is towards the front or back.

paise

Smallest and now defunct unit of currency in india.
100 paise = 1 rupee
6 paise = 1 anna.
hence 24 paise = 4 anna, but the one paise gets added usually, and a 25 paise coin is known as a charanna or a chavanni.
Therefore a 50 paise coin is known as an athanna, or an attanni, but the word has been bastardised into adhanna, meaning half an anna, which does not make sense.
