Pi Inequality

When the number π feels marginalized in some puritan or theocratic quarters as it is allowed only to express itself to one or two decimal places, or to two or three significant figures, while such a numerical oppression is quasi-inexistent in most countries in the West.
Due to oft-unspoken pi inequality, π in different milieux is not treated equally or fairly.

Xmas Pi

When the number π has unprovenly been using dreams for centuries to hint at number theorists and numerologists that besides some Old Testament books in the Bible, the birth of Christ is also revealed via its digits, if only they know how or where to look for them—had they sought the Holy Spirit, the Third Person in the Trinity, for direction, they would have received the revelation instead of struggling with their own intellect.
Divining the virgin birth of the Messiah via Xmas pi would have been a digital coup for the mathematical brethren, who could have been flirting with mathematical immortality thanks to their discovery.

Orgasmic Pi

The aha! feeling math geeks experience at the sight or sound of a little juicy or sexy theorem, or math factoid, on the number π—a minor form of mathematical bliss that could last for days in some instances.
Just as Roland Barthes, French writer and critic, associates a good or pleasurable read with a dizzying orgasm, pure mathematicians or number theorists secretly dream or long for an orgasmic pi chance encounter, especially when they’re at their most vulnerable state of mind.

Thailand Math

Math questions on food, drinks, and consumer items (toothpaste, lipsticks, skin lotions, etc.) that contain cannabis or its derivatives, which poses a health or moral threat to concerned or conservative parents, pastors, and politicians.
A raw math manuscript, which defines “green products” as those containing marijuana in controlled amounts, was leaked out to some expatriate teachers in an international school in Bangkok. One such Thailand math question is the following: “Two green cookies and a cup of green coffee cost 415 Baht. Three green cookies and two cups of green coffee cost 710 Baht. What much is a green cookie?” Answer: 120 Baht.

Guesstimate how many times #π has so far appeared on Twitter since the planet was plagued with Covid-19.

Mary Christmas

When Catholics celebrate not only the birth or birthday of Jesus Christ but also worship the Virgin Mary and all the saints, which the Protestants don’t, because believers are only to look up to the Holy Trinity—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—and praying to, or interceding through, anyone or anything else is biblically unsupported or erroneous, not to say, idolatrous.
Millions of Christians who don’t subscribe to the Vatican’s theology that believers could also pray to Virgin Mary and the saints have started to wish their Roman Catholic colleagues and friends a “Mary Christmas.”
