what it is

An expression made by cleverly switching the words "it" and "is" to create a grammatically nonsensical phrase meaning "What is it?". See "what up" or "aks" for similar constructions (or deconstructions depending on how you look at it).

"Hey, can I aks you a question?"

"Yeah, what it is?"

DSC

Distinguished Service Cross

The second highest decoration for a soldier to achieve in the US Military. The highest is the Medal of Honor. However, the DSC is a very high commendation that defines a true soldier.

Naked Snake

The name for "Snake" in Metal Gear Solid 3 : Snake Eater. He is called "Naked Snake" because when he's sent into his mission, he doesn't carry any weapons with him (to be naked is to lack any armaments whatsoever).
Sounds kinda kinky, but we'll learn more in November 2004, eh? ^-^
