Republican at the congressional hearings about the bp oil spill.
As his opening remarks with bp's Tony Hayward, he actually apologized to him for President Obama's "harsh treatment." Barton actually said Obama's insisting on bp setting up a $20 Billion victim compensation fund was a "shakedown."
The appropriate shock and awe followed. Even John Boehner was embarrassed and Barton eventually apologized for his own assisnine insensitive stupidity.

Some of Rep. Barton's Republican colleages were surprised to hear he was a bp sympathizer, but many of his corporate owned colleages agreed with him. However if you look at his $1.4 million in campaign contributions from big oil you can begin to understand.

Misguided fools that don't understand what the American Civil Liberties Union is all about. The aclu defends people and organizations that face threats to their Constitutional Rights. The Constitution is meant to protect Americans from the powerful government, corporations and/or individuals. Remember everyone is created equal? The aclu takes on cases to defend people's civil rights, particularly those in the 1st Ammendment: freedom of the press, religion, speech and assembly.
ACLU bashers are usually just misinformed fuckwits, however some neocons actually are opposed to the idea of a group defending the rights of the little guy.

Tony Hayward
In 2010, Tony Hayward is the C.E.O. of BP. While presiding over the worst environmental disaster in American history, the bp oil spill, this money grubbing scum showed not only his incompetence but his total lack of conscience. The Deep Horizon oil rig blew up and killed 11 people working there and then the millions of gallons of oil set out to ruin the Gulf Coast and the lives of thousands of Americans!
Then after several weeks of "trying to find a solution," Hayward actually had the gall to say "I just want my life back!"

The Party of NO! is a name the Republican Party earned as a result of voting NO on any proposal brought up in Washington by the Majority Democrats since January 2009.
The G.O.P. is so twisted by hate for President Barack Obama that they refuse to cooperate in anyway with Democrats. They continue to vote against Democrats' ideas while not presenting any good alternative ideas of their own.

SPEED BUMP
An assinine attempt to slow traffic in parking lots or on roads. These bumps are put in by assholes in an attempt to reduce speeds on main through roads in some residential areas. Speed bumps often result in cussing by the "victims" who want to exercise their rights to travel on smooth public roads. Often these pissed off people will speed up excessively after passing over a speed bump to spite the assholes responsible!

Kind of like Satan worshippers, only more open and less into rituals. Seriously, there are members of the Republican Party that worship the second worst president ever! (after GW Bush) The republitards invoke his name in debates and even Bush43 said he wanted to be just like Reagan.
The Reagan Administration caused serious, long-term damage to this country--reagannomics, tripled debt, "star wars," union bashing, education cuts, pro-business/anti-worker policies and creating the Taliban to fight the Soviet Union in Afganistan! Yet Republicans still think he's great. WTF?!
