Forefounders

A garbled reference to the original creators of the United States, who favored independence from English rule and/or wrote the Constitution. It mixes "Fore-fathers" and "Founding fathers."

Apprecionado

A person who is not an expert in a subject (art or music) but has an informed interest in it. Similar to "aficionado" but without having advanced technical knowledge.

I am an apprecionado of banjo jazz music.

Z out

To tabulate and print out the transactions of the day's sales on a cash register.
Metaphorically: To sum up and conclude a transaction or relationship.

"It's quitting time. Did you Z out?"

"OK, if we're gonna Z out, let's talk about the $960 I paid on your Con Ed bill 2 years ago."

Cyberstadt

The Internet, used in the sense that it confines us rather than liberates us. Different from Cyberspace, which implies freedom of virtual movement and expression.

As more of us become addicted to social networking sites and email, we find there is no peace in the Cyberstadt.

Russian Charge

Military:
Charge forward against the enemy line, and at the first opportunity, drop and hide from the Russian snipers tasked with shooting deserters. Wait to be POWed and probably fed.

These young men had little training, and no appetite for war;

Commanders behind the trenches sent them into the maw of fire, from ahead and behind, a Russian Charge.

Declare one's (often opposite) personal gender identification.

Katie spend her first year of college as a girl. She's planning on having a sex change operation after graduation, and next year will genderfy as a boy.

A spider who doesn't believe in government or authority.

A spider wove her web in front of the Presidential seal. She was an anarchid.
