When someone said Jack and Jill were "dating" in Middle School, I felt inadequate because I thought they weren't just holding hands in the hall. I was a weird kid.

Get the Bountyism mug.Someone who prioritizes the liberty of the citizen over the wants of the government (control, mostly). This definition is getting outdated, and if you identify as a liberal nowadays you'll get scorned by conservatives who use it as a buzzword for anyone left-leaning. The reality is that this French Revolution-era term can be mixed with any position on the left-right spectrum, and is on an independent axis, the opposite being authoritarianism.
