Les Enfants Terribles

Root: "The Les Enfants Terribles Project" referenced in the Metal Gear Solid video games. It used Gene Therapy to create the Genome Army as well as both Sold Snake and Liquid Snake through the analysis and cloning of Big Boss's genes.

It means literally "the terrible children" in French, which makes sense because all the clones/sons of Big Boss are trained killers.
Solid Snake was created in the "Les Enfants Terribles" Project.

Spinosaurus

A theropod dinosaur which, due to recent finds, currently holds the coveted title of "biggest meat eating dinosaur", displacing Giganotosaurus, which in turn displaced Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Spinosaurus was relatively obscure among the general public until it was featured in the film Jurassic Park III, where it replaced the T-Rex as the film's primary antagonist, appearing on JPIII's logo and and killing one in a breif fight near the beginning of the film. This defeat, however, did little to sway the popularity of T-Rex; indeed, many fans reacted negatively to the outcome of the fight. Dinosaur fans often debate the true outcome of such a battle, though in reality it could never take place due to the Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus living on different continents and existing millions of years apart from eachother. It is generally thought that the Tyrannosaurus' superior jaw strength would give it an advantage in such a battle.

However, the depiction of the Spinosaurus in JPIII as an unstoppable superpredator was inaccurate. Its delicate, bony dorsal fin and long, gator-like snout armed with straight, peglike teeth (as opposed to the ribbed, serrated fangs of theropods such as T-Rex), indicate that this beast was a specialised icthyovore as opposed to a hunter of large dinosaurs, growing massive on a diet of fish, as well as pterosaurs, crocodiles and just about anything else it could swallow whole.

Spinosaurus is closely related to Baryonyx and Suchomimus, but not to the similar looking Dimetrodon, which lived before the age of the dinosaurs.

pug

A very funny, loving, and cute little dog that is very people friendly. Pugs are mostly inside dogs because of their sensitivity to heat, cold, and sunlight. They tend to snore a lot but that only makes them more endearing to those of us who are owned by them.
Pugs kick ass and those who say they are ugly don't know wtf they are talking about.

Mr. Charlie

White men regarded as oppressors of blacks.

An article by John Cowley, "Shack Bullies and Levee Contractors: Bluesmen as Ethnographers," in The Journal of Folklore Research, vol. 28, nos. 2/3, pp. 135-162, recounts the story of the Lowrence family, a set of seven brothers, the oldest named Charley, who were notorious contractors of cheap labor, mostly African American, to build the levees alongside the Mississippi in the 1920's. A number of songs quoted in the article refer to "Mr Charley" specifically in this context, giving rise to speculation on the part of Alan Lomax that he may have "discovered the identity of the elusive "Mr. Charley." Cowley's article goes on, however, to quote a comment by Alan Dundes on Lomax' article that 'Mr. Charley' "would appear to date from antebellum times." But the repeated reference to a "Mr. Charley" by southern bluesmen was undoubtedly in reference to Charley Lowrence.
