zero below zero

An unnecessarily wordy term for the temperature zero degrees
I don't want to have to go looking for our dog when it's zero below zero outside.

Subnautica below zero

The sequel to the original subnautica. Still on 4546B, it takes place 4 years after ryley robinson (the main character of the original subnautica). Your space shuttle crashes in sector zero (hence the name). You are playing as a girl investigating the death of your sister while trying to not die.
Bro I almost shat myself playing Subnautica below zero because of that jumpscare.

Below Zero Jitters

Anxiety that starts in North Dakota winters when the sun starts going down, the temperature dives, and it's a 50/50 chance if your furnace will keep your house warm because it's too cold for it to function properly.
Now that the sun is going down, it's about time to close the shades and put up the window blankets to try calm my below zero jitters.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
