veloxed (verb, transitive): To be deceived or betrayed by a service provider that re-brands or changes ownership, resulting in loss of payments, unmet promises and discontinuation of previous services. This operation typically involves abrupt changes in terms, withdrawal of prior-contract protections such as data protection, threats or evasive responses when customers seek refunds or support by dragging customers with uncertainty beyond the charge-back period.

I signed up for the VPS deal, but after a different Velox Media business took over, my server went dark for days and they stopped honouring my previous service - I got veloxed.
